FAQs
SCHOOLS & CLUBS
What types of events do you film?
We cover school productions, dance shows, and club performances. If it’s important to your students and families, we can film it.
How does the filming process work?
We arrive early to set up cameras and audio, then film the full performance from multiple angles. Everything is captured professionally so families can enjoy the show without worrying about recording it themselves.
Do you offer multi‑camera filming?
Yes. We use multiple cameras to capture wide shots, close‑ups, and all the key moments. This creates a polished, engaging final film.
How do you handle audio?
Clear sound is essential. We use professional microphones and recorders to capture dialogue, singing, and music so every word and note is heard more clearly.
Do you need access to power at the venue?
Not usually. All equipment is battery‑powered, but access to a plug is helpful for longer events.
Are you insured?
Yes. We are fully insured for public liability and professional equipment, which most schools require.
How do you handle safeguarding?
We work closely with schools to ensure all safeguarding policies are followed, and adhere to any additional guidelines your school or club has in place.
What if some students can’t be filmed?
No problem. We can adjust camera angles and editing to ensure those students are not included in the final film.
Do you have a DBS check?
Yes. An up‑to‑date enhanced DBS check is held and can provide documentation on request.
What do families receive?
Families receive a professionally edited film of the full performance, delivered online in a secure, easy‑to‑use gallery. A hard copy can also be purchased on disc for use in most personal players.
How long does editing take?
Most films are delivered within 1 - 2 weeks, depending on the season and the size of the production.
Can we request changes?
Minor adjustments are welcome if requested within 7 days of receipt. We want the final film to reflect your school or club at its best.
Do you offer DVDs or USBs?
Yes. Physical copies can be added if needed.
How does the pricing work?
There’s no upfront cost for the school or club. The event is filmed for free, and families can purchase the finished film at an affordable price.
How does the donation system work?
For every film purchased, £1 goes straight back to your school or club. It’s a simple way to raise funds while giving families something they’ll treasure.
Do you offer bulk discounts?
No. We feel our pricing is already as fair and transparent as possible for every family.
Is there a minimum number of sales required?
Yes. In order for filming to be viable, a minimum of 50 orders will need to be placed 7 days prior to the event.
How early do you arrive?
We typically arrive 30 minutes before the performance to set up cameras and audio.
Do you need space to set up?
Just a small area at the back or side of the hall. We try and keep our footprint minimal so we don’t disrupt the audience or performers.
What do you wear while filming?
Comfortable and practical branded workwear to aid filming.
Can you film multiple performances?
Yes, but the same minimum sales of 50 would need to be reached for the separate performance for filming to go ahead.
Do you work around rehearsals?
We are not able to film rehearsals, so will only attend for the main performance.
How do we book you?
Just get in touch with your event date and details. Once confirmed, we can arrange a meeting to discuss further.
Do you meet with staff beforehand?
Yes. We're happy to visit the school or chat over video call to plan the filming and answer any questions.
Can you work with tight deadlines?
Most of the time, yes. If your event is coming up soon, we'll do our best to fit you in.
